This process isn't designed to compete with forging. However, with our process you can print molds and cores for sand casting (with our sand/casting media - see sand process video) or directly print metal parts that would traditionally be cast. The real benefit here (with either material) is that you can realize extremely complex designs that would be difficult or impossible to cast, reverse engineer old parts and achieve prototypes or castings much more quickly than with traditional methods.
